Open Days at Coastal Rowing Academy

Curious about coastal rowing? Come and experience it for yourself at one of our upcoming Open Days at Northney Marina, Hayling Island.

These free relaxed taster sessions are the perfect opportunity to step into one of our rowing boats, get a feel for the water, and see what coastal rowing is all about - no experience needed.

You’ll meet our Academy coaches, who will be on hand to guide you through the basics and answer any questions, as well as chat to our friendly members about life at the club. Whether you’re looking for a new challenge, a way to get active, or a welcoming community by the water, we’d love to meet you!

Our Open Days also offer a great introduction to the Go Coastal 6-week Learn to Row courses, running throughout 2026. These are funded by the Sport England Movement Fund and taught by coaches of the new Harbourside Centre at Northney Marina. You’ll be able to find out more about these courses and how to book your place.

The 10:00am session is usually the busiest, so if you’d prefer a quieter experience, we recommend joining us at one of the later sessions.
